The Weekend Review

The week started off badly.  On Monday, my mom and I had to say goodbye to our 17 year old dog Junior.  I was in court nearly every day and so busy I could barely breathe.  One problem after another kept me irritated and agitated.  On Thursday, I thought I was texting my Aunt Barbara but I had the wrong cell phone number so I actually told my fourth or perhaps fifth cousin in Alabama that I missed him and would like to spend more time with him.  He texted back that he missed me too and would like to get together.  Completely oblivious to my blunder, I passed the cell phone number on to my sister who also texted “Aunt Barbara,” with a similarly provocative overture (except that she disclosed she was a member of the Vulture Rescue Society which elicited an apt “LOL” from the mis-intended recipient).  Well.  Sorry, Aunt Barbara.  Kim and I would really like to make a trip to Anniston, but we’re a little worried that we may have given Cousin Jessie the wrong idea.

But I managed to eat some good things and Friday ended on an up-beat.
